15 starter posts in 90 minutes (template + system)
The hardest part of launching social isn’t the content. It’s the first 15 posts. After that you have a rhythm. Before that you have a blank Buffer queue and existential dread.
The 5-format rule
Every brand needs only 5 post formats to cover the first 30 days.
- Hero post (welcome / who we are)
- Product/service spotlight
- Tip / educational
- Behind-the-scenes
- Social proof / testimonial
5 formats × 3 posts each = 15 posts. Enough for 30 days at 3-4 posts/week.
Template stack (Canva)
Build 5 master templates. Each template has a fixed brand color, consistent text placement, logo position, and consistent typography. When you create a new post you only swap the text and imagery.
The 90-minute fill
Block 90 minutes. Phone off. Coffee.
- Min 0–15: 3 hero posts (intro, mission, process)
- Min 15–35: 3 product spotlights
- Min 35–55: 3 tips (mistake, insight, recommendation)
- Min 55–70: 3 behind-the-scenes (founder, workspace, team)
- Min 70–90: 3 social proof posts
Captions
Each post needs a 50-120 word caption. Pattern:
- Line 1: hook (first 5 words matter most)
- Lines 2-4: the insight or story
- Last line: CTA (“comment X”, “DM us”, “link in bio”)
Use ChatGPT: “Write a [format] post for [brand], voice is [tone], topic is [topic], CTA is [action]. 100 words max.”
Scheduling
Drop all 15 into Buffer/Later/Meta Business Suite. Mon/Wed/Fri at 9 AM local, Sat at noon. 5 weeks of content from one 90-minute session.
The 4th week trap
By week 4 you’ll be out of pre-loaded posts. Block another 90 minutes and repeat. Every 4 weeks. You’ll never run out of content again.
